Happy Haunting!

I discovered that I can type my blog in word 2007 and send it to Blogger to publish. Yesterday I used a handwriting font. Were you able to read it? My monitor showed it the same size as my usual typing..

It took me three evenings but I finally finished my Halloween cards and passed them out. I bought several papers from Archivers and didn't pay much attention which company makes them. The stamp set I used is Hero Arts - Happy Owl-Oween. It has several little owl images, ghosts, witches, pirates, cats and pumpkins. These are little 3x3 cards which is the perfect size to give to my coworkers.

Time

Time… What is time?? I know that I don't have enough of it.. I'm tired of not having all that I need. Or I guess all that I think I need.

I consider myself a time manager and am great at saving time and not wasting it. Its seems like I don't get much done. I have too many projects. Scrapbook pages, Cards, gifts, paint project for the holidays. Not to mention things I would like to do around the house, like paint the walls. Organize my garage. Shampoo the carpet. Clean out my closets. The list goes on and on.
Now that My Handyman is working nights I've been doing a few things I haven't for awhile. Like play the piano. I've been enjoying that. I guess I just need to change my priorities and realize I can't do it all! I'm too Anal! How do you organize your time. Does anyone else out there feel like they never get anything done?? Maybe my list is just too long. I should quit adding to it.

Prince Charming

A couple of days ago was Prince Charming's birthday. I made this card for him using a funny set of stamps from Inkadinkado named; Humerous Birthday.



I used CTMH Outdoor Denim, Twilight, SweetLeaf and Colonial White CS. The b&t paper is My Minds Eye. I colored the image using twinkling H20's. I cut the shapes with my nestabilities.

Cute

The cutest little boy I know spent Saturday night with his Grammy. We had alot of fun. He loves to play Pat-a-cake, peek-a-boo and make noises. He was toddling all over the house exploring and laughing. Its amazing how his motor skills are developing. He packs his little baseball bat everywhere. Maybe he'll play for the Redsocks someday! What a joy he is to have around!

Packages

I received two packages in the mail yesterday! WaHoo! I almost forgot that I ordered these Loew-Cornell mop brushes. Maxine Thomas is a fabulous artist and she had these brushes designed for her. She has a floating technique that I'm anxious to try. You can watch her video HERE.




She teaches classes all over the country. Here is one of her patterns.


I also bought some new Anna Wight stamps from Whipper Snapper.
They're fabulous! I have Crazy for Chickens, Cupcake Kitties, Santa's Hat and Standing Chicken. Now I need to make some fun cards :)

Pizza

Its been ages since I made homemade pizza! I read THIS blog regularly and drool at all his food creations. I've asked him to be my personal chef... but... he lives in New York. Oh well!!

I used my fresh tomatoes to make the sauce then added some fresh sausage (for the handyman) olives, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. It was fabulous!!
