Party Time

This is another Funny illustration by Anna Wight for Whipper Snapper.  I’ve had the stamp for quite awhile.  Every time I pull it out and create a card it puts a smile on my face, too.

Isn’t he adorable?  I love the big toothy grin.  He’s happy and ready to party.  A perfect card for a cat lover.  I colored him with Copic markers.

Products used:   Whipper Snapper – Cat image. PTI – Tiny Tags. White Gel pen. Tiny Tags die. Button. Twine. Copic markers. CTMH – Holiday Red. Lagoon. Ctmh – D1475 Card Chatter- Birthday.

Adventure of a Lifetime

I had a request for an outdoorsy wedding card.   It’s not the usual run of your mill frilly card.  Totally non-traditional.  This is what I came up with.

Anna Wight’s Whipper Snapper stamps are so fun!   What do you think?

Products used:   Whipper Snapper – Great Outdoors. My Minds Eye – Bohemian. Copic Markers. Twinkling H20’s. Aqua pen. Soufflé pen. Silhouette. Shimmerz. Liquid appliqué.

Organization

I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner! I have been selling and getting rid of almost all of my music CD’s. All of my music is on my MP3 player and I have no use for all of the clutter. I have a CD tower which gets moved from room to room and hasn’t had much purpose. I’ve kept a few of my favorite CD’s, so I decided I didn’t want to get rid of the tower just yet.

I decided to put all of my nestabilities in CD cases. I put a magnetic sheet inside to hold the die cuts.

Guess what? I can store these in the CD tower! They fit perfect. Several of my stamp set also come in CD cases. PTI (Paper Trey Ink), Whipper Snapper, Verve, etc….. Now they’re in easy reach!

Fly Fishing

I used to fly fish alot when my kids were younger. Scissorbella did the best! She caught quite a few brook trout that way. I haven’t been for quite awhile. I’m not sure why. Maybe because My Handyman is a flatlander from the great state of Ten Thousand Lakes!!! He prefers lake fishing…. I think he’s NUTS!!

I created this card for a co-workers birthday. He loves to fly fish! And look! Its a chicken!!

I used papers from My Minds Eye, Nestabilites, Whipper Snapper – Hooked on Fishing, Tim Holtz distress – vintage photo. Twinkling H20’s. CTMH D1283 – Say it in Style. Baubles and ribbon.

Hey Chickie!

If you know me very well… then you know I have a thing about chickens. I really haven’t bought anything or painted anything new for a couple of years. Anna Wight over at Whipper Snapper , designs the most bestest stamps! I love her chickens… You’ve got to read her BLOG. She lives in Texas and takes great pictures of all her cows, chickens and other pets. She names them all, too!

I created this using the set – Crazy for Chickens. Go figure!! I used CTMH Creme Brulee, White, Sorbet, and Key Lime. The background is stamped with CHF backgrounder – Fine Gingham . I stamped the image with brown stazon ink and water colored with my twinkling H20’s. I stamped the little chickie a little crooked so I used my black pigma pen and added a couple of little lines for movement. That way it looks like I did it on purpose! A true artist at work!
