Creep

What was your first car? Mine was a 1962 VW Bug! And I had personalized plates! It was a favorite word of mine at the time. LOL! It cost me $600 which is a lot of money for a 16 year old in 1978. I had many adventures in this school bus yellow bug! I let one of my friends drive it one day while I was in class and she had a hard time with the gear shift. She broke the stick off at the base. I had the Shop class at school fix it for me. A great learning project for them. It never did shift quite right after that. The inside had wall to wall brown shag carpet! It was stylin! The throttle would stick and I would have to pull over, open the hood and fix it every couple of miles. I didn't care! It got me to school, it got me to work and it meant freedom!!

LOVE IT! I always wanted a bug - still wouldn't mind having one for a fun car with a cute paint job and a cute license plate and I love the classic style the best!

My first car was a little white Honda Civic. It was a great car to get to BYU and home in and did great in the snow and I still miss having 4 on the floor!

How cute! I love it! My dad drove a blue one to work alot when I was little. The fender was loose and would make noises when he was driving. LOL! My grandparents drove one too...my grandfather has owned several in his life.

LOL! I don't remember that car lookin' quite that good, but I do remember it was fun to drive. Aaaand........what's this about the stick being broken off? Was there something you forgot to tell your dear old mother? Too bad you did save the plate...it is a classic.
