Christmas Fun

Christmas day we all went to Eric and Jennifer's. We opened gifts, played Guitar Hero - World Tour, Pictionary Man and Ate Prime Rib. It was alot of fun. I snapped over 100 photo's. Over the next few days I'll be sharing some digital creations of the holiday events!

Silly Monkeys

Merry Christmas to all of my family and blog friends! I'm still not ready for Christmas but I guess its too late now.

A couple of weeks ago I was at the grocery store. I had less than 10 items and was tired from a long day at work. The lady behind me had two crying kids and several more items than me. I let her go in front of me. She started crying and Thanked me. She had a bad endless day and all she wanted to do was get home.

Its as easy as that!

Cardinals

Cardinals. Aren't they the prettiest little red birds! I don't think we have them in Idaho. I've never seen one. Only in pictures.



I created these beauties using CTMH Chocolate CS. Basic Grey Wassail. My new Cuttlebug embossing edges. Stamp is CTMH - Flights of Fancy. I colored the cardinal with my Prismacolor pencils (see previous post for instructions) I then colored over the top of the bird with my new Gold shimmerz. I love the sparkle. I added a Martha Stewart snowflake punch embellished with Diamond Dust. I lightly sanded the embossed edge to make the image POP!

Happy Birthday Krinkle!

Today is my baby sister's birthday! I was 8 years old when she was born. Cristie Carol. She was born on my Mom's oldest sister's Birthday. Aunt carol. I remember sitting in the car waving at mom from her hospital room. We were so excited for the new baby to come home.
She came home from the hospital in a giant Christmas Stocking. I love you Krinkle!

Family Christmas Party

We had our family Christmas party last night at my house. Mom lives in Northern Idaho and isn't able to come home for Christmas because she Manages a Grocery Store up there. You all know what retail is like this time of the year... so NO vacations!
My sister Sandee set up her camera and we recorded a couple of songs for her. We wanted her to feel like she was with us and that we're thinking of her. We love you Mom!!

Generations

This is a picture taken of me with my Son Eric and his son Carter. This was taken after we had full bellies on Thanksgiving. Hey Mom! I know you're reading this... Next time you're in town we need a 4 generation picture.

I have a 5 generation picture when Eric was born. My Grandma Spilly, Grandma Beth, Mom, Myself and Eric... I'm going to have to find that and scrap a page to share with you.. I'll add that to my project list.

Digital Cards

I posted previously that I was going to make a few digital Christmas cards. I took several pictures of My Handyman and I, holding my arm out as far as I could. Well.. the Handyman can get impatient! (NO!) So this is as good as it gets. Ain't nothing but the real thing... Baby!

PS. I painted the snowman in the background.





Both of our faces are cut off , but its the love and thoughts that count!!!

Joy To The World!

If you've been reading my blog very long, or you know me very well.. you know that I LOVE Snowmen! There is something about them. Maybe its because they're so round and cute! I can relate to that! LOL!!

I used created this card using CTMH D1226- Magical Season and C1209 - Christmas Scripts.
CTMH Bubblegum and Holiday Red CS. The patterned paper is by Karen Foster. I used my Circle Nestabilities to cut out the image.



Image was stamped with Black stazon and colored with my Prismacolor pencils. (See previous post for instructions)

Arent these fun colors? I embellished with Silver Thread and Fruit Punch stickles.

All Is Calm, All is Bright

This is one of my favorite cards that I've created this year. The flash on my camera kind of washed out the color. Its so much prettier in person. I used stamp set: Silent Night from Papertryink. I bought the paper and ribbon a couple of years ago from SU. I used CTMH Goldrush CS and Olive ink. The star is 3D and has a Flame Robins Nest Bauble in the center!
