Unforgettable

Unforgettable..... That's what you are... Unforgettable.. Though near or far...
Like a song of love that clings to me, How the thought of you does things to me,
Never before, has someone been more...

Oh sorry! I had that song stuck in my mind...

Photobucket

I used my new CTMH Unforgettable X7106B paper. D1335 Intrinsic Backgrounds, C1340 Aspiration. I ran the Sorbet cs through my Cuttlebug to emboss it. Inked all the edges with Sorbet ink. I stamped two flowers then watercolored them with my Sorbet ink and some twinkling H20's. I glued one on top of the other to make it look dimensional then dotted the center with Crystal Effects. I then added an extra large eyelet and some chocolate ribbon.

I love all of these new colors!

Euphoria

When I seen this new Clear Art Stamp - Bouquets of Joy, I had to buy it! Not only because I love the flowers and the cute little girl holding them but because... remember?? My word for the year is JOY. Wishing you bouquets of JOY!

My Mama had a birthday on the 8th. She was planning on coming to town on the 6th for a week to visit. It was snowing pretty hard and she didn't want to drive on the snowy roads so I talked her into getting a plane ticket and she could rent a car when she gets here.. Well.... She got her ticket to arrive the night of the 7th ... She called me that afternoon and told me it was blizzarding and that all flights had been cancelled. Dang It! Now she's going to try and come in April.

I made this cute card for her....

In The Leafy Tree Tops

CHF released this fun new stamp set - Spring Tree's. I seen this fun idea in a stamp catalog and had to give it a try. I used the tree trunk from one of the CHF stamps and then punched a bunch of circles in various shades of green using my nestabilities. I then ran the circles through some of my cuttlebug embossing folders. I added a few colorful buttons and a pretty little butterfly.

Cardinals

Cardinals. Aren't they the prettiest little red birds! I don't think we have them in Idaho. I've never seen one. Only in pictures.

Photobucket

I created these beauties using CTMH Chocolate CS. Basic Grey Wassail. My new Cuttlebug embossing edges. Stamp is CTMH - Flights of Fancy. I colored the cardinal with my Prismacolor pencils (see previous post for instructions) I then colored over the top of the bird with my new Gold shimmerz. I love the sparkle. I added a Martha Stewart snowflake punch embellished with Diamond Dust. I lightly sanded the embossed edge to make the image POP!

So Happy Together

Its the season of Weddings.. Scissorbella told me she has 5 weddings to attend this year.

I created this card using CTMH White Daisy CS that I embossed with my Cuttlebug. I used silver metalic rub on it. I used MFT - Boho Blossoms and Verve Visual - Anniversary Birds stamps. I glued the heart to CTMH Vineyard Berry CS, then cut out around it. I embellished the heart with Liquid Glass, Frosted Lace Stickles, and Diamond Dust. The ribbon is steel grey and I sponged the edge of the card with Vineyard Berry ink.
