What if?? If only!! Why?? We want everything too SOON! Could it be that God will reveal answers to us when the time comes??
The key is: Meet today's problems with today's strength. Don't start tackling tomorrow's problems until tomorrow. You do not have tomorrow's strength yet. You simply have enough for today.
Jesus made the same point in fewer words: “ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matt 6:34
In other words, Don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
All over the world today, people will be celebrating Easter. The day that Jesus Christ was resurrected. This is a very basic story of Christ’s resurrection that I will be teaching the 4 year olds today at church.
The wicked people who did not like Jesus Christ had finally obtained permission from their leaders to put him to death. These people beat Jesus and made fun of him. They took him to a hill outside the city and nailed him to a cross.
After Jesus died, his friends showed their love for him by taking care of this body. Carefully they took it down from the cross. They wrapped it in clean, new cloth and put it in a tomb, which is a small cave or a room carved out of a rock in the hillside. After his friends laid Jesus body in the tomb, they rolled a large rock over the doorway.
Later some of the Savior’s enemies placed guards at the tomb. They did this because Jesus had told the people that he would be resurrected in three days. His enemies did not believe he would be resurrected. They thought Jesus’ friends would hide his body and say he was alive again.
On the morning of the third day an angel came and rolled away the stone at the entrance to the tomb. The guards were very frightened, and they fell down as if they were dead.
On the same day, which was Sunday, some women who were Jesus’ friends went to the tomb. They brought spices to put on Jesus’ body. This was something people at that time did to show love and respect for the person who had died.
The women wondered how they would move the heavy stone from the tomb. But when they arrived at the tomb, they saw that the stone was rolled away and Jesus’ body was gone. Near the tomb they saw an angel.
Matthew 28:5-6 reads - And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
The angels also told the women to go quickly and tell the disciples that Jesus Christ had risen from the dead. The women did go tell the other disciples, and later the other disciples saw Jesus. He was alive again.
Jesus was the first of Heavenly Father’s children to be resurrected. Because he was resurrected, we all will be resurrected too. We may not be resurrected just three days after we die, as Jesus was, but someday we will be resurrected.

I don’t usually talk about religion on my blog, but my beliefs have been in question and in the news a lot lately. I think mainly because of peoples ignorance and misunderstanding or possibly unwillingness to accept.
All of the banter about the “Mormons” which is just a slang word for the religion, makes me question just how far, we as humans and children of God, have come in accepting each other for our differences. Are we going backwards in our acceptance?
I was reading a friends blog the other day and she said…
Nearly everyone now recognizes that anti-black prejudices are socially unacceptable… but that is not true of anti-Mormon sentiments.
“The prejudices we need to work on aren't the ones you recognize in your Grandparents generation, they are the one's you don't recognize in your own generation, and in yourself or what "someone" says that must surely be true.”
The LDS church has 13 articles of Faith that you can read HERE.
Number 11 states: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
If you really want to learn about and understand what we as ‘Mormons’ believe… You can read more Here.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the largest Women’s organization in the world. It is called Relief Society. The purposes of Relief Society are to increase faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and provide relief by seeking out and helping those in need. All LDS women age 18 and older are members of this organization.
Today, the President of this worldwide organization, Sister Julie Back will be in Nampa, ID. I will be attending a meeting this afternoon to see her and hear her speak. There will be 1000’s of other women in attendance. I am thrilled for this opportunity to be inspired and filled with the Spirit. Her message will be broadcast to many other locations.
We are a diverse world. I am surrounded by many diverse Family members. Please pray to your God, or to whomever your spirit guide is, for Love and Acceptance of others. As Mother Theresa once said “ If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
We’ve been asked by our church leaders to pick an attribute of Christ this year that we want to work on to become more like Christ.
I’m putting together a project for a Relief Society (the Women’s organization) class next week. We are making a 5x7 paper craft project that we can frame to remind us. It has to be something fairly quick and simple.
I’m excited to teach the Women how to make these fun paper flowers.
What are some attributes of Christ?
Faith, Hope, Charity and Love, Virtue, Knowledge, Patience, Humility, Diligence, and Obedience

You live among the least of these
The weary and the weak
And it would be a tragedy
For me to turn away
All my needs You have supplied
When I was dead You gave me life
So how could I not give it away so freely?
And I´ll...
Follow You into the homes of the broken
Follow You into the world
Meet the needs for the poor and the needy God
Follow You into the world
Use my hands use my feet
To make Your kingdom come
To the corners of the earth
Until Your work is done
Faith without works is dead
On the cross Your blood was shed
So how could we not give it away so freely?
And I give all myself
I give all myself
I give all myself to You
Do you believe in Miracles?I always have... and have heard many stories.
(A miracle is a perceptible interruption of the laws of nature, such that can be attempted to be explained by divine intervention, and is sometimes associated with a miracle worker. Some suggest that God may work with the laws of nature to perform what we perceive as miracles. A miracle is often considered a fortuitous event: an Act of God.)
This year our Family had our own Miracle. And what a time to have one. During the Christmas season. The season that we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
How can you not believe after witnessing something as great as this? God has plans for my Son.

ESTERLYN is a local band from Boise.. They're on tour right now with Kutless and StellarKart. Luke Caldwell is the lead singer, his dad is Paster Bob at Calvary Chapel.
His sister, Sarah, and her husband felt that God was leading them to adopt a child from China. They couldn't afford it. Plus, they felt strongly that they wanted to adopt a special needs child. He watched their obedience to God -- moving to an unfamiliar city to take a job that would allow them to afford the adoption process. He saw God move in their circumstances and their lives in powerful ways to confirm their every step. They had so much joy in the process. God brought them a little girl. Their whole family celebrated with them. Luke was so impacted -- watching them actually live out their faith. There is legitimacy to that. It's genuine. He wanted his band to be like that. This little girl, the gift that she is, how her story touched so many people -- that's what he wants their band to be. Her name is Esterlyn.
This is the song - I couldn't find a good video of them.
In today's all about ME society.. I think its really important to remember the importance of Charity... We can all find time to help others. It doesn't have to be monetary. It can be our time. Its so easy to stay in the safety zone. Don't you think its time to make a difference in someone's life.
(turn off my music player above and listen to this fabulous Relient K song!)
Give
No one told me The right way The right way to go about this So I’ll figure it out for myself
Cuz how much Is too much To give you Well I may never know So I’ll just give until there’s nothing else
Yeah I’ll give give give (until there’s nothing else) Give my life (until it all runs out) Give give (and I’ll have no regrets) I’ll give until there’s nothing left I’ll give
No one told me How bad I need you But I somehow arrived To that conclusion all by myself
And I want All you have to offer So I offer myself and I’ll just give until there’s nothing else And I’ll give give give (until there’s nothing else) Give my life (until it all runs out) Give give (and I’ll have no regrets) I’ll give until there’s nothing left
Sometimes I think Like all I ever do Is ask for things Until I ask too much of you But that’s not the way I wanna live I need to change But something’s got to give Yeah something’s got to Give give give (until there’s nothing left) Give my life (until it all runs out) Give give (and I’ll have no regrets) I’ll give until there’s nothing left to give Give give give (until there’s nothing left) Give my life (until it all runs out) Give give Give until there’s nothing left I’ll give
