Paradise Batik

I had a friend in high school that did Batik.  I found it fascinating how she used her little wax tool to draw the was on the fabric and then die it.   So beautiful!

Look at this beautiful hand drawn batik image I found HERE.

This birthday card that I created used designer paper by BoBunny called Paradise Batik and Back to Basics.

I accordion folded a couple of 1 inch strips of paper a made them into a medallion.

Products used:   Verve – Happy Days. BoBunny – Paradise Batik, Back to Basics. Nestabilities. PTI – Ribbon die. Verve die. CTMH – Indian Corn Blue. Stickles. Copper Brads. Distress ink – Vintage photo.

Great paper... I love Batik and am playing around with Batik on rice paper at the moment. Its a lot of fun. That photo of the horses is just spectacular and to think it is outlined in wax!
