My Handyman and I decided to take a drive out to the Snake River Canyon in the Birds of Prey Wilderness area about 22 miles from home today. We went to the Swan Falls Dam on the river. Read about the dam HERE. I will post a few more pictures in a couple of days. This one is for Rogers Creative Photography contest. Check it out here if you have a photo you want to enter and to see a list of everyone else entering. You have until Wednesday evening to enter.
I edited the picture using Photoshop Elements. I duplicated and made a screen layer and an overlay on top of the original photo. Check back in a couple of days to learn how to do this. (see Monday July 14th for the link)
Enjoy!

I look forward to the explanation on Photoshop techniques!
Great picture!
That brings back so many memories for me, I used to live in Buhl, lived there for 19 years, and the snake river was one of my favorite places. :)
Gorgeous photo; I also wonder about the editing process.
Wow! I can see the competition for this contest is tough but I entered mostly to see other peoples' pictures and I'm glad I did!

Wow! I love when a photograph immediately pulls me in and this sure did
Felt like I was taking a helicopter tour :)
super shot..what a great area of the country that is...
I am addicted to Photoshop
The water is so clear the reflections of the blue sky are mirrorlike. This contrasts with the neutral colors of the Canyon.
Good luck in Roger's contest!
Wowza! What a wonderful view. This is a very interesting photo, lots to look at.

Blessings,
