I met Julie; from Verve Visual today. She designs the stamps she sells. She had a fabulous sale over the weekend and I found out she only lives a few miles from me so I was able to pick up the order from her. She is very nice! Check out her blog, Poetic Artistry! She has fabulous card samples.

The Miracle

I want you all to know; I witnessed a miracle today! This is my Mom and she is cooking! Don't get me wrong! She is a fabulous cook! But she quit cooking when my youngest sister turned 18 and was out the door!!

Insane

What the H-E- double toothpicks was I thinking??? I think I had a moment of insanity!!!! I actually got up at 4 AM and went to THE MALL this morning!!! Don't tell anyone! It's a Secret! I don't want anyone to know that I'm CRAZY!! Sears was having a fabulous sale and I wanted to get a couple of things. Then of course I had to stop at Fred Meyer, and Bath and Body Works and Craft Warehouse ($2 for mono adhesive refills!) I bought some great items! had great coupons! and LOST MY MIND!! Remind me NEVER to do it again!!! I did all of this and was home by about 7:15AM! I'm staying home the rest of the day and going to make some cards!

Family

I am Thankful for my in-laws. They all live in Minnesota which seems like it's across the universe! We only see them every couple of years which is really hard for Wilt; especially this time of the year.

More Thankful's

I am Thankful for awesome parents that raised me right. They made me work hard! They taught me values and most of all taught me the meaning of Love!

I am Thankful for my siblings. I wish we had more time to "hang out"




I am Thankful for extended family! I love all of my cousins and Uncles and Aunts. Many are no longer living but I have many fond memories of them!!

This is my dads family. All of his siblings and Mother. My dad is the youngest.

My Dad is no longer alive. I miss him very much! My Mom will be flying into town Thursday Morning! I value the time I have with Her!

Trip

Ashley and I took a road trip Sunday to Pocatello (Eastern Idaho) She had her State Boards Monday. She had her Theory and Law test early Monday morning and her practical test at noon. We hit the road about 2:30 and got home last night. She thinks she did pretty good. I think she finds out in a couple of days if she passed. She has a job! She'll be working at Rain Spa and Salon. Its under construction and the owner hopes to open mid December, but it will probably be January.. Its on Eagle and Overland. Its an Aveda salon. They sell exclusive Aveda products. (check it out) She is very excited. I'm sure she'll be mailing out Business cards as soon as they're printed!!

Its Beginning

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!! I went shopping today. I went into town and stopped at Archivers. I've only been in there one other time. It's very over whelming! Too much stuff to choose from!!! I ended up buying some christmas papers, ribbon and stickers.

I created another album using Close To My Heart - True Fit Folios # 1404. They are only $6.95 for a package of 5. The papers, stickers and ribbon are from Love Elsie. Check out her blog. I used CTMH CS - Hollyhock, Chocolate and Olive.

I will be making futures projects out of these.

Happy Hump Day!

I made this card for a friend that is going through a few trials in her life. I have faith that they will end soon.

My Toe

The fitness program seems to be going ok. I tweaked my back a couple of weeks ago but so far that hasn't been a problem. Only when I sneeze! I feel like I have a rib jabbing into my lung!!! Last week, Wilt was wrestling and trying to tickle me. I jumped because of my back and turned and he stepped on my little toe and broke it. So.... Thats another thing I'm dealing with. We got the treadmill moved back out to the garage so that I can do it anytime of the day.

I did the treadmill as a warmup for about 10 minutes before working the machines at ATC. I need to wrap my foot. Tomorrow will be better! The weights are great! Its so nice having the gym right across from the gym. We received our team T-shirts yesterday. Our Team is Red. We decided to be the Rowdy Red Rebels.!!

Some days I wish I could just stay home and be creative. But no luck! I just have to make due with my little bit of time in the evenings.

I guess that's better than nothing!
