Creative Energy

This morning I had my Band-Aid tin workshop. It was alot of fun!! I love teaching others to be creative!! Ash asked me to make a couple of journals for her friends. She has two with birthdays next week. I used CTMH My Reflections "Free Spirit" B&T paper and "More to Adore" B&T paper. These are always popular. She took her Scissorbella book to school and she has several friends that want me to make them something.

More Bella

I made this birthday card using CTMH my reflections paper kit; Floral Tapestry Level 2. Cardstock is Orchid Bouquet, and Twilight. I used a creative clip and one of my new Bella stamps. OH! cant forget the bling. CTMH has "SPARKLES" in the new book coming out in September.

State Fair

Yesterday we sent to the State Fair. Its been a few years since we've been. We pretty much go for the food! LOL!! It was a great day to go. It was cooler and overcast. We wandered around looking at all the rides and carnival games. We checked at all the animal barns and 4H entries. I wonder if any of the cows are related to Pioneer Woman's??
There was alot of nice handmade/grown items. Its nothing like the exitement I remember as a kid!!! But we still had a good time!

CONTACTS

I made Ash a contact book for school. She wants to start writing down her clients and formula's. I used the Scissorbella stamp, retired Stampin UP! papers, Close to My Heart Ocean and Breeze cardstock and Sept SOTM - Doddle Alphabet. I used Diamond Dust to glitter some of the shapes. These composition books are on sale right now for 50 cents each at Walmart.

Fun Stuff

I created the following cards today. I received my Bella stamps this week. I bought Scissorbella because my daughter is in Cosmetology School and will be graduating in October. Isn't she cute?? The pink is definitely ASH!!


I created the 2nd card using the new CAPRICE B&T paper from Close To My Heart , which is available in the new Autumn/Winter catalog available in September. I used the August Stamp of the Month; Free Spirit from Close To My Heart. I used the new distresing kit to rough it up. Also available in September.

FIESTA!!

Today was our company picnic. WINCO FOODS!! It was alot of fun! It was a football theme so of course everyone had to support our local BSU Bronco's!!! GoodWood catered the BBQ and we had Ribs, Chicken Brisket, Beans, Salad etc. There was volleyball, a waterballoon fight and a football toss! OH! and lots of nice prizes! It was fun seeing everyone's spirit!!

Here is a card I created using Pam Klassen's Card sketch on her blog. I received my order last night and this is the first thing I've created using the new distressing kit! Free Spirit paper and Legendary Moments acrylic stamp set from CTMH.

Weekend

It's a quiet Saturday Morning. Wilt is out golfing. I've been busy this morning painting posters from our company picnic Tuesday.

I'm also drawing up some cards. I feel creative this morning. I received my box of new items from the Autumn/Winter CTMH catolog that goes into effect September 1. I love the new papers!! They are fabulous! I got a couple of stamp sets and the new Destressing kit! I'm so excited that I am shaking. (It doesn't take much to excite me!!) :)

Ashley went back to school this week. She decided to get her hair cut short. Kind of like Victoria Beckham except she's got to let her bangs grow a little bit. Its very cute. Here are a couple of pictures.

Band-Aid Tin

Here is a picture of the Band-aid Tin that I created today. Inside is a 2 1/2 X 3 mini accordian book. The tags inside will have Spa Recipes on them. I am teaching the workshop in August. Check out My CTMH workshop for details.

Weekend

Its was Kuna Days this weekend. There was a big BBQ at the park and then Fireworks. They lasted about 30 minutes. Saturday morning Wilt and I got up about 4:30am and drove to Steck Park on Brownlee Reservoir. We heard the cat fishing was good so we thought we would give it a try. 3 hours and only a few bites. We were home by noon, so we headed down to Kuna Days again. We had corndogs and some kind of potato for lunch. I think its call the potato tornado??

The 300

Gerard Butler.. HHMMMM!!! We watched the 300 tonight. I seen it in March when the movie came out! I told Wilt I want a life size poster of The King of Spartan!

Potter Fans!

I finished Harry Potter last night!! I had to wait a couple of days for my husband to finish reading it before I could start it! It was fabulous! Alot of action in this book! Too bad it over! How did everyone like it????? Did you like the way it ended???
