I want to congratulate my friend Allison on her new job! She will be replacing me and I wish her the best of luck! I know she will do a fabulous job! You go girl!!

I created this card using CTMH Petal CS. I used my new nestabillities ! Prismacolor pencils, purple stickles, Bella stamp - Rockabella. Verve stamp - Uplifting Phrases. Papertreyink paper- Bitty Baby Blessings and Lavender moon ribbon.

This card was made using CTMH Serendipity paper kit, Scissorbella and MWAH stamp. I used some robins nest baubles and a variety of stickles. The smile is supposed to sparkle but look more like braces!

Idealism

When you have ideals, you really care about what is right and meaningful in life. You follow your beliefs. You don’t just accept things the way they are. You make a difference. Idealists dare to have big dreams and then act as if they are possible.

My friend Barb had a birthday over the weekend. She reads my blog sometimes and I didn't want to ruin the surprise so I waited to post the card. I also posted this card on the Bella challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. I used Curly Surpriseabella stamp. (My hair looks like this most days!!) Verve Visual - Wonderful Wishes, Basic Grey- Blush (paper) and SU ribbon.

Perseverance

Perseverance is being steadfast and persistent. You commit to your goals and overcome obstacles, no matter how long it takes. When you persevere, you don't give up...you keep going. Like a strong ship in a storm, you don't become battered or blown off course. You just ride the waves.

We finally received the results from our 2nd month weigh in for the fitness challenge. I lost 2 more pounds. And my inches went down another 7.5.
So its been a gradual change but I figure I'll keep off the weight if I persevere.

More Bella

I made this birthday card using CTMH my reflections paper kit; Floral Tapestry Level 2. Cardstock is Orchid Bouquet, and Twilight. I used a creative clip and one of my new Bella stamps. OH! cant forget the bling. CTMH has "SPARKLES" in the new book coming out in September.

CONTACTS

I made Ash a contact book for school. She wants to start writing down her clients and formula's. I used the Scissorbella stamp, retired Stampin UP! papers, Close to My Heart Ocean and Breeze cardstock and Sept SOTM - Doddle Alphabet. I used Diamond Dust to glitter some of the shapes. These composition books are on sale right now for 50 cents each at Walmart.

Fun Stuff

I created the following cards today. I received my Bella stamps this week. I bought Scissorbella because my daughter is in Cosmetology School and will be graduating in October. Isn't she cute?? The pink is definitely ASH!!


I created the 2nd card using the new CAPRICE B&T paper from Close To My Heart , which is available in the new Autumn/Winter catalog available in September. I used the August Stamp of the Month; Free Spirit from Close To My Heart. I used the new distresing kit to rough it up. Also available in September.
