My Handyman loves to cook. He also loves to watch the shopping networks when the cooking shows are on. He gets all sucked in on how amazing everything is. I usually have to distract him and get him off the couch before he buys one of everything. LOL! Every once in a while he'll sneak in a purchase. We have a Cabinet in the garage that stores all of these fabulous finds.

Look what arrived in a nice box last week from QVC.....
Its the amazing Rocket Grill.. I finally dug it out of the box to give it a try.
(still has the labels on it)


It has an opening at the top.. kind of like a toaster.


You put your food inside a little parchment bag. This catches all of the juices, fats, etc .. You hang the bag inside the grill. When the grill is hot and you close the lid, the plates close up against the bag.


While the chicken was cooking I checked out the instruction and recipe book that came with it.
It has pictures of how to do everything.. which makes it very easy.


Oh look... Oatmeal cookie S'Mores. YUMMY!


You can cook all kinds of meats, grill sandwiches etc...
I was surprised how well it worked. The chicken came out brown and crisp. 10 minutes for two large boneless, skinless breasts. It's great for cooking for two...

My friend Barb over at Whispering Photo's had a birthday Monday! I didn't want to ruin her surprise by posting here too early. We've worked together for quite a few years. She is an awesome person and takes fabulous photo's

I've been seeing alot of shades of Purple. I love the color but I just don't seem to use it alot in my cards. I'm going to try and use it more.



Its hard to get a true color. I take pictures with flash and without flash. Under my OTT light but they never seem to be as nice and in the flesh!



This one looks a little washed out, but I think you can get a good idea.

Good Times

I'm sure there is something to CELEBRATE today! How about "Happy Hump Day!" Now that is something to celebrate. Nowhere to go but towards the weekend!

This Fat Cat is another fun stamp from Whipper Snapper. Don't you just love that big Cheshire grin? Maybe I should have colored him shades of Pink and purple... You would probably think I was going Madd if I did that! I'm telling you... I don't have far to go!

Happy Cluckin Birthday!

Hey there chicken lovers! If you know me then you know that I have my kitchen decorated with chickens. I haven't bought anything new for quite a while. I'm trying to de-clutter! Not that I was every very cluttered but anyway. I find chickens in other ways. (insert evil laugh)
I found the cutest chicken stamps from Whipper Snapper! Anna Wight is one of the best designers. This goofy looking bird is so fun! He's so Cluckin Cute! I'm replenishing my card stash so will be making an assortment to show you.
