I found a similar card somewhere out in blog land and loved the colors and layout… A lot of Nestabilities layers.
I used a CB embossing folder on the spotted background paper then rubbed distress ink over it to make it stand out. A couple of layers I wanted to fit a little tighter so I traced around the die plate and hand cut out the shape. I purchased the Seam binding ribbon on Etsy but I hear it’s pretty easy to make your own. Seam binding is not very expensive at the fabric store. You can wad it up and stick in a cup of watered down Ink drops(for custom colors)… Or soak some in coffee or tea to stain it…
Products used: CTMH – Black, Desert Sand, Indian Corn Blue. Mini brads. Nestabilities. Emboss folder. Distress ink – vintage photo. Corner punch. Seam binding. Twine. Verve – Forever in our Hearts
