Do you know what a RAK is?? Its a Random Act of Kindness. I would like to send all of my readers a RAK during 2009. If you're interested. Email me - tolep8nt and put RAK in the subject. Send me your name and address and I will send you a RAK sometime during 2009. It could be a homemade card. Or possibly something else.. Please email me by January 2nd 2009 to get on the list.. (if you're having problems clicking on the email link above.. my email is tolep8nt at cableone.net)

"Agape is understanding, creative, redemptive goodwill towards all men. Agape is an overflowing of love, which seeks nothing in return. Theologians would say that it is the love of God operating in the human heart. When you rise to love on this level, you love all men, not because you like them, not because their ways appeal to you, but you love them because God loves them." Martin Luther King Jr.

The only thing that I ask in return is that you too will do some kind of RAK during 2009.

A couple of weeks ago I was at the grocery store. I had less than 10 items and was tired from a long day at work. The lady behind me had two crying kids and several more items than me. I let her go in front of me. She started crying and Thanked me. She had a bad endless day and all she wanted to do was get home.

Its as easy as that!

Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing the grocery store story. You gave her the most wonderful gift, by just being kind and thoughtful. The awesome feeling, you had, could not be bought by any amount of dollars. Bless you and this wonderful Christmas Day.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I love that first picture that is so beautiful. And thank you for the grocery story. The random acts always trickle down. This is why giving service to others is so important. Merry Christmas! Hugs from Arizona, Bobbi Jo

Thanks for visiting my blog - and I love your idea of RAKs. When I taught, I would show my kids the movie "Pay it Forward" and we would do a project similar to what you are presenting. Love it!

Count me in - I will email you, too.

Love all your homemade cards and such - so beautiful, really. Merry Christmas!!!

PS - how did you find me? Just curious! :)
