Weekend Visitor

The cutest little boy that I know spent the night with his Grammy Friday night.



We watched this movie 4 times... and that wasn't even enough! He loves dinosaurs!


He loves stacking the pillows on the couch and jumping on them...


His constant companion..


It looks like Grammy could use a pedicure on her Winter Feet!

Busy as a Bee

This weeks happenings.   I'm so busy trying to finish shopping, painting a couple of projects, cards and crafts...    I'm going to start EARLY next year...   :p

Sugar Cookies...  This is my Aunt's recipe that I've been making since my early teens. I made some for a church function and some for work.




My drive home Monday...  The roads still look like this...   Its been below zero and no melting..


A wreath project I'm working on..




Oh!  and I started working out each night after work.  I'm on week 2..   My Angelic self  and My Evil self fight with each other every day over this new adventure!   So far the Angel in me is winning... :p

Looking forward to my Grandson spending the night Friday...  and all day Saturday...  it will be a nice break to get away from the craziness.   I think we'll read stories, color pictures and watch movies!   Oh!  and maybe get to visit with GG Dort!

OH! and one last thing... I hate the new photobucket!   Its horrible to upload and edit!   I even pay for the more expensive version!   Ok!   Done venting....  HO! HO! HO!    Merry Christmas...

Sisters

My Sisters and I hung out most of the day Saturday.  We went to several Christmas bazaar's and the Christmas show at the Expo Building.   We saw quite a few nice things.  (I've never seen so many Scentsy booths in my life!)    There were alot of nice hand crafted items.   We laughed until we cried at some of the stuff we seen; especially the redneck booth.   We came upon a both that has some awesome stuff.   I found a special item for my mom...   I better include a Depends....  because she might laugh until she pee's her pants....

I tried to hold the camera out as far as I could to get a picture with Santa in the Background.  



Then this nice lady seen us and volunteered to take one of us...    



I really wanted to go to the Night Light Holiday Parade but it was bone chilling cold outside.  I could barely stand to go out to get the mail... let alone stand outside to watch a parade.  Maybe next year...

Gift Tags

I found this site while reading someone else's blog sometime last week... I think?

Today is the biggest holiday craft fair Day of the year! Lots of them going on around town. My sister  Sister's and I are going to hang out and check some of them out and go to lunch. We don't ever get to do this. It's going to be a fab time! (Christmas show at the Expo Building, too)  
Tonight is the local Night Light Christmas parade. It going to be very cold so if I decide to go... I'll have to bundle up very good.

Daily Disappearance

As I was driving home today, I was awestruck by the daily disappearance of the sun. I was able to pull over and grab my small little Cannon Elph and snap this photo as the trailing edge of the sun's disk disappeared below the horizon.

The colors are just fabulous! I am constantly amazed by God's artwork with the Owyhee Mountains as his backdrop.
