Spring Time in the Rockies

Sunday was a beautiful day! Not only did we move all of the furniture out.... We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day.... Too bad it only lasted one day!

Here are my beautiful daffodils that are now in full bloom.

I found this cute little nest in my tree. Its the cozy home of two little yellow finches.

This is the view of the mountains from my back yard! Look! Still snow!! The snow pack is good this year because of all the spring Snow. More expected! UGH!!! Mother Nature needs a bonk on the head! I'm tired of her games!

My Grandson Carter even had fun running around the yard playing!

What a mess!

This is what my house currently looks like....

Oh wait! Today there is no vinyl!

This is what my garage currently looks like....

This is why I am stir crazy!

We are replacing the floors in the living room, kitchen, eating area, laundry room and halls. UGH!!! My choice is to either sit crammed in my craft room which now houses the big screen TV all cushions from the couch , the coffee table, lamps etc!

Or lay in bed and read. I can't even watch TV in the bedroom because the Satellite is disconnected until the big TV is hooked back up.

Its too cold to be outside. I'm going crazy!!!!

Everything is covered with dust!

Hopefully only a day or two left and I will again have a house of order!

Here is a sneak peak of what they look like.... Antique cherry....

Spring Flowers

I looked out my window and the daffodils are blooming! I need to get out and take some pictures to share. I found this site that sells digital stamp images. Sketching Stamper Digi, She has some fabulous Spring flowers! I couldn't resist this beautiful daffodil image.

I found it just in time to make a birthday card for Mary, my co-worker.

I printed the image on white card stock and water colored the image with twinkling H20's.
I added a little stickles, and some sweet leaf brads. All edges of card stock is scraped and distressed with my extra sharp craft scissors. I found this fabulous Martha Stewart Punch on clearance at Wally World! I couldn't believe it.. I punched the edges of the blue and green CS. I wrapped with a pretty white ribbon and embellished with a button.
