I scream You scream….

We all scream of Ice Cream!

I remember when I was a teenager, My Grandma Beth came to Boise to visit.   Dad gathered us all up and took us to Smith’s Food King (no longer here).  They had hand dipped cones.   My Grandma loved ice cream.   I remember her getting a double scooped cone.  I swear each scoop was the size of a soft ball.   It was the heat of the Summer and she had ice cream running down her arm and dripping off her elbow..  but she didn’t care.  I remember that look of pure bliss on her face….

Today is my youngest child , Scissorbella’s 24th birthday.  (AKA – Ashley)   I think Grandma Beth rubbed off on her.  She simply adores ice cream.   I always had to have a carton in the freezer.   I think she ate a bowl every night.   There were times she would call me at work, all worried because she forgot to tell me she was out of ice cream and that I really needed to pick some up on my way home from work.

(Inside of card)

Well..  Ashley and David received an ice cream maker for their wedding.   I wonder if she’s used it yet?

Happy Birthday to My Sweet Daughter!
