Sweet

Well.. about half of us showed up for the girls day out. I had a grilled chicken bruschetta sandwich. It was really good. Most of us work for the same company and have moved around to different area's, so everyone was catching up on the gossip. It was nice to visit.

We went to a movie after. Some went to What Happens in Vegas. Scissorbella and I seen Kung Fu Panda. I'm a big kid at heart.

I made my sister a card thanking her for planning the fun.
I used my new Square nestabilities. The card stock is CTMH. Olive Green, Bubblegum, Chocolate and White Daisy. I used Inkadinkado - Birthday Cupcake. The ribbon is Elements, Uptown Red. I stamped the image with black stazon and used my prisma colored pencils. I sponged some of the edges with Watermelon and added bling with Crystal stickles. She loved it!

Blog Candy

This afternoon is girls day out! My sisters, daughter, and some friends are all going to lunch, then to a movie. It should be a fun time. We don't do this often enough. I'll be taking my camera so that I can tell you more..

Exercise

The first week of June I started going back to the gym. I only went a couple of times in May and decided to commit on a regular basis again. Each day as I leave work and head over there I still struggle with the steering wheel. Should I go? Shouldn't I go? If I don't I'll get home early..and can make a couple of cards..etc... If I do I'll get home late and will want to go straight to bed. Excuses! Excuses! It feels great and I'm always glad I do afterwards.

I seen a card similar to this one on Julee's blog. I love the colors. I used SU Chocolate Chip and Sage Shadow. The stamp set is Serenity by Verve Visual. I used my new Square nestabilites that came in the mail today. I embellished with Martha Steward pearls.chocolate ribbon and CTMH liquid glass Z679.

Karma..set aside time for relaxation...
