M4H P52: 9/52

It’s Winter. The Earth is in a deep slumber.  Everything seems to be lacking in color.   Black and white everywhere.  Shades of browns and grays.

Not everyone is aware, but the Capital of  Boise along with the rest of Southwest Idaho is  high desert.   After the downpour of rain this morning, I took a walk a few blocks down the road.   There is a little fishing pond that is next to Indian Creek.  It is surrounded by lava rocks and sagebrush.  This part of the creek is a deep canyon.   I snapped a few shots along the way.

This weeks word:   Color blind

colorblind

Tiny sprouts of color are starting to show.  I’ll share those pictures with you in a few days.

Enjoy!
