Autumn Blessings

We have had a beautiful Fall.  Today was in the low 70’s.   I think it will be our last warm day.  Tomorrow will be the low 50’s.   Winter is on the way.

I’ve been working on a couple of Fall projects.

I made this wreath using old canning rings.  They were old and rusty.  I painted some of them orange and some of them white.   After the paint was dry, I wrapped them with various Washi Tape.  I then tied a burlap ribbon at the top and hung by my front door.

I painted this cute little Halloween shelf sitter and added some vinyl to it.   I finished it off with some spatters of paint.

My trees are starting to turn colors and are covering the grass.   The sun was shining, with a few clouds in the sky so I grabbed my camera.  I love Fall colors.

And the bees are still buzzing around the little bit of blooming lavender that I have in the front of my house.

I’m a little embarrassed to share this picture with you.   This is my craft room.  It is also my fitness room and it is currently storage.  

I’ve taken everything off the walls in my house. (except this room)  We’re getting ready to paint.  A room at a time will probably take us all summer.  Oh joy!

I just ordered new Bali blinds for the entire house,  too.  That is going to be another fun project.

Last Winter I bought this old door.  I’ve shared it before.  It is an old wooden door cut in half with a few hooks attached to the bottom.  The slats are painted with chalkboard paint and is hanging in the entry of my home.   It has been fun coming up with new things to write on it. 

This is the current verse.

Gratitude

Do you like Pinterest? There are SO many ideas.  How many things have you actually tried that you’ve pinned?  I’ve tried quite a few recipes.  I’ve used many cards as templates.   I’ve used a couple of idea’s for sewing and crafting and my most recent find is this…. 

You know last winter I purchased the old VERY HEAVY door cut in half and have it hanging in my entry way.  I cleaned the chalk area and have been trying to find something to write on it.  I wrote this yesterday.  What do you think?
