This time of year we don't see very many birds hanging around. Food is pretty sparse now that snow is covering everything and the temps are dipping so low. Some people like to put out bird feeders to attract birds in the winter. A few years ago I had a bird feeder hanging from our big maple tree. It did attract alot of birds. They were fun to watch as they fluttered and fought over who's turn it was to eat next. I probably could have had several more feeders and it wouldn't have been enough. Anyway... The birds drove Tanner (the dog) NUTS! He wanted them in a real bad way! I finally took it down.... Read HERE on how to attract birds in Winter.
