Yummy

Look at these Yummy bundles of seam binding ribbon I bought last week.  I bought them at Donna’s Etsy shop Blue Bird Lane. She has all kinds of little pretties.

I can hardly wait to start using it on my cards.  It’s hard to choose colors.   These are what I started with.
Peaches and Brown Sugar.

Grandmothers Lilac Bush

It is by Grace

I’ve been wanting to create an altered art project, using digital images, chipboard, and other embellishments.    My head is jumbled with ideas and can sometimes become overwhelming.  I need about 48 hours in a day…
I painted some Maya Road chipboard with Distress crackle paint  and Adirondack paint daubers.

Using my PSE7 and several digital images, fonts, etc…  I created  a page and printed on HP presentation paper.

I purchased a nice heavy duty 8 x 8 canvas that is about 2 inches thick.   I used my Americana acrylics and painted it with colors of pink, purple and white,  then used  Modge Podge to attached the digital image.  After adding several layers of the modge podge, (the paper will bubble then flatten)  I added more paint and a whole lot of bling.

I learned that these type of projects are messy..   Nothing neat and perfect about them…  You just have to let loose and create.
Products used:   American paint. Maya Road chipboard. Robins Next baubles. Button. Twine. Stickles. PSE7.  Digital images and brushes. Vellum. Embosslet.  Distress crackle paint. Adirondack daubers.  Crystals.  HP presentation paper. Twine.  Tacky glue.

Ribbons and Bling

Tis the season for Weddings. Last night Scissorbella was wrapping a gift for a wedding she will be attending today and the only paper she could find was gold Christmas paper. She asked me if I could perform a miracle on it. She knows all about my stash of supplies. It took me about 5 minutes to create this. A couple of ribbons and a stamp punched with my circle punch. Its amazing how something so simple can really dress up a package.. ( Be sure and read the Karma below. This one is a hard one for me.)

Scissorbella cut and colored my hair yesterday. I decided to have her put Copper highlights in it for something a little different... I hate trying to take pictures of myself!!! I either get too close or out of focus! I took about 20 to get a couple of good ones!
