Alpha fun…

During the Christmas bazaar season my daughter in law found an alpha hanging she wanted to add to my granddaughter Kendall’s Christmas list.  I told her I was pretty sure I could make something similar.   I used my Photoshop Elements 10 and created this.   I saved each image on my flash drive, took it down to Office Depot and had them print on cardstock.  I then cut out each image, one by one.    I bought a 12x24 canvas at Hobby Lobby and painted it with my American acrylic paint, Sable Brown.    Kendall’s room is in shades of pinks and browns.  I decided instead of painting the background a shade of pink to paint it a shade of brown.

I measured and spaced the images and attached with Mod Podge.  Once they were secured and dry, I painted Mod Podge over the entire project to finish it off.

I added a little extra bling to it; various sized rhinestones.

I added a pretty pink silk ribbon for hanging and a brown bow to finish it off.
