Memorial

This weekend I went to Drycreek Cemetery to visit my Granddaughter, and to put flowers on her grave.

This flag is flying just a few feet away from her.

Just up the hill from her is the upper level of the Veterans Cemetery.

I knew there would be all kinds of flags for great picture taking. Saturday was a great day to visit.  Beautiful weather and no crowds yet.  These are at the lower level of the Veteran Memorial.

Up the hill…

View of lower level from the top looking West.   You can see the whole valley from up there.

God Bless America. God bless our Veterans. God bless the Men and Women that are currently serving our Nation. God bless our loved ones that are no longer with us.

Kiss the Girl

Well… with all the cool weather and all the rain…  I think I’m turning into the little mermaid!   Splashing happily in the puddles everywhere.   That’s a big fat ugly lie!

Images from Pink Cat Studio…

I found a site that has a Copic marker club.   If you know anything about Copic markers…  they aren’t cheap.  They are an artist quality product.    Go visit Paper Maniac if you’re interesting in joining the club and buying a few each month.

Last weekend I put together my magazine shelf that has been sitting in the box for 2 months.   My Handyman had quite the adventure hanging it…

It’s about 36” X 36”…  give or take a few….

There is a slight chance that the rain might go away this weekend…  Mr. Sunshine might show his bright smiling face and the rain puddles might dry up….    I’m not putting my mermaid suit away any time soon.

Dull… AKA Boring

You’ve got to believe me when I tell you… Life really isn’t that dull around here..

Contrary to popular belief!

I guess he's not as thrilled as I am about my new lens.

What a Week!

I haven't forgotten you.  It's been a crazy busy week.   I had Monday off and was able to finish up a couple more wedding projects.    My Uncle David passed away Sunday and we celebrated his life on Thursday.  I worked long days at working making up time.  No time to craft..  Today is a cool overcast and drizzly morning.  Great day for painting signs out in the garage.   Have a great weekend.

This is a video I created of the Commitment Ceremony at the Veterans Cemetery for my Family.  My family is Scottish.  The bagpipes were wonderful.  At the end she played Amazing Grace as she walked over the rim of the hillside.

About A Boy

When Carter spends the night with Grammy…   It’s always an adventure.   He is obsessed with Dinosaurs, Dragons and Monsters.
He loves Shrek, Monsters, Inc. and Dinosaurs.   It’s funny because he growls and roars right with the movie.
